Many smokers want to stop smoking, but find it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to do so because smoking is a subconscious habit. When you had you're first cigarette, it's unlikely that you found it enjoyable, but you carried on practising until you reached proficiency.
Once you became a regular smoker, you no longer smoked at a conscious level. It became a subconscious action, which by its very definition, meant the conscious mind was no longer in control. Your conscious mind can try as hard as it likes to stop smoking, but the subconscious will now carry on the habit because that's what it's been programmed to do.
The subconscious cannot distinguish between a good and bad habit, so we need to persuade the subconscious to change its behaviour. To do this we find out what satisfaction the subconscious derives from smoking, and then transfer that satisfaction onto something that is more advantageous and beneficial for the client.
This transferrence prevents the client from filling the void created by giving up smoking with yet another vice, such as overeating. The continued cravings for cigarettes that are suffered by many ex-smokers are avoided, as well as other symptoms, such as increased irritability. This can all be achieved in a two hour long session.
It's important to stress that clients must want to give up smoking for the therapy to work, rather than just thinking that they should. If a client isn't committed then they are just wasting their money1. Our stop smoking therapy is extremely effective, but it's not magic.
However, if a client really wants to give up smoking they WILL be able to stop.
